Michael's jazz funk stylings sharply color anything thrown at him and his energy is contagious. He toured and recorded extensively with the Merl Saunders' Rainforest Band, and is active with his own band, The Seventh Galaxy. He has contributed to projects by Leo Nocentelli of The Funky Meters, Harvey Mandel, Country Joe, and many other artists.

Michael and Stan have been playing together since the late '90s, a totally satisfying situation.
